No matter what you do – the only way to Grow and Thrive is to have an “Entrepreneurial mindset”
Here are 11 ways you can develop an “Entrepreneurial mindset” immaterial of you level, function, industry or geography:
- Rapid Massive Action – “The path to success is to take massive, determined actions.” ―Tony Robbins. Every idea, plan, strategy, projection are merely a set of hypotheses until put into action. You need to set a direction and take Rapid Massive Action – everyday every minute.
- Try try till you succeed – “Just because you fall once, doesn’t mean you’re fall at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always trust yourself, because if you don’t then who will??” – Marilyn Monroe. The best way to test your ideas, strategy, plan is to try it in various ways – learn from the experience and then try more. Do not shy in trying & experimenting.
- Expect positive outcomes – “No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars, or sailed an uncharted land or opened a new doorway for the human spirit.” – Helen Keller. Even in worst conditions take action expecting positive outcomes.
- Welcome Change – “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.” -Winston Churchill. Change creates opportunities. If you don’t change quickly you will be out of race soon.
- Decide Fast – “Whenever you see a successful business, someone once made a courageous decision.” – Peter F. Drucker. Perfect situation to make perfect decisions will never arise – you must take fast decisions with incomplete information.
- Be Curious – “I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” Albert Einstein. You must ask lot of questions – consume huge amounts of information and look for patterns. Curiosity gets you opportunities, help you in solving problems and discover new ways of doing things.
- Take Risks – “Fortune sides with him who dares.” – Virgil Research. Study the situation, assess the risk and then manage the risk – but take the risk. Nothing is sure or guaranteed in life – but you have to still move with the risks. Remember – No Risk No Reward.
- Keep people happy – “That’s what people do who love you. They put their arms around you and love you when you’re not so lovable.” – Deb Caletti. Your success entirely depends on how happy people around you are. That includes internal people (Employees & Suppliers) and external people (Customers & Network). Talk to them. Appreciate them. Learn from them. Share with them. Keep your promises.

Focus on your goals and dreams and maximize your resources and forces to achieve the same. This will help you set the right priorities and invest your time accordingly.
- Values & Expectations – “Your attitude is an expression of your values and expectations.” Zabid Abas. Focusing on values helps you in fast decision making. Setting right expectations from yourself and people around you – attract the right people to you and also makes work enjoyable for everyone.

Being Hungry means you always have a beginners mindset, a sense of urgency, never get tired of taking rapid massive action, take the pain required to achieve your goals, you are ready to listen, learn and adopt, achieving your goals is not a choice or an option.
Entrepreneurship mindset means Making it Happen – putting ideas to work. It is taking those insights and making them real by assembling resources, building products and generating revenues.
